I've been blog-tagged by an author, which means I have to answer her questions and then tag four more people. Why does this feel like the new chain letter? I can do it, though, because it beats writing a novel right about now. Here are her categories and my choices:

4 places you would rather be right now:
I believe in always making the best of whatever place, person, or moment in time I am so I'd like to just say I'm happy right now where I...screw it:
- At a bank, cashing a check for $1,000,000 for a three-book deal
- In the arms of that rare intelligent, funny, and emotionally mature straight hot guy who is telling me he loves me
- On a beach with my kids, teaching them to snorkel
- At my French villa with friends and family, drinking red wine, eating cheese with crusty bread, and playing Trivial Pursuit
Tag 4 People you think will respond:
- Janet Evanovich (why not?)
- Alan Orloff
- GM Malliet
- Keith Raffel
What would be your four answers to any of the categories above?

How and where do I respond?
Jess, we agree on so many things without realizing it. I think I am your soul sister. Except that I never warmed to HOUSE, and I never intend to snorkel in this lifetime. I don't even like getting wet in the shower that much. :)
But the villa with the bread, cheese and trivial pursuit? Please invite me. And since you just made a cool mill, maybe send a private plane.
Hi, there. Same question as Keith's.
[But I think you're on vacation now?]
Please invite me, along with Julia, to the villa.
Keith and Gin, you can respond here, in the comment area. You're technically supposed to respond on your own private blog.
Leaving for vacation on Friday. Whoo-hoo! Anyone have recommendations for places to visit in northern Italy or southeastern France?
I know you hate to fly, soul sister Julia, so I will bring the villa, cheese, and wine to Illinois. :)
Jess, Nice is nice. Have fun on your vacation!

You're going to Aix already, yes?
Alan, tell me more about this 7-week cross country road trip! That sounds like my dream vacation.
And arugula is gross, dude.
