Next week, Beth Groundwater will launch Deadly Currents, the first book in her RM Outdoor Adventures mystery series starring whitewater river ranger Mandy Tanner. The first party is in Colorado Springs, CO, on Thursday, March 17th, 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 795 Citadel Drive East. The second is in Denver, CO, on Saturday, March 19th, 12:30 - 3:00 PM, at Murder by the Book, 1574 South Pearl Street. Cookies, balloons, and cake will add to the festivities.On Saturday, March 19, MInkers Alan Orloff and Joanna Campbell Slan will be appearing at the Virginia Festival of the Book in Charlottesville, VA. Alan's panel is "Death: Another Time, Another Place," and Joanna's is "Death: Not in my Job Description." Both panels begin at 10:00 a.m.
