Thank you! As much as I'd have hated to be a woman in the fifties and have a husband who reeked of alcohol and cigarettes, Jon Hamm is the man.
I can't wait for tomorrow night.
Thing is, in my head I've been playing that little writers' game where you try to decide which actor would best portray your detective. Jon Hamm is definitely the one. All he needs is a British accent. From my lips to the ears of the folks at Masterpiece Mystery. ;-)
Unfortunate name for an actor, though, Hamm.
