Tim, We Feel Your Pain

Tim Maleeny was supposed to blog today at Inkspot. No, he didn't fall asleep at the wheel. Not our Tim. Turns out, he got his lap top stolen out of his car. Tim will return to post in March. Fortunately, Tim had all his books and stories properly backed-up. (Note to self - back-up!)

In the meantime, Tim, we all feel your pain. May the thief be forced to stand naked while 500 writers pelt him with CDs.

While I am sympathetic to your situation, Tim, I feel you may have brought it on yourself by letting the Hamburglar use your laptop in the first place.

Tim - That is my biggest fear!! So much so, that I rarely take my laptop with me when I travel. So glad to hear you back up your work.
Have fun at Best Buy!

Oh, man ... what a drag! Hassle time for Tim ... but what a smart guy to back everything up. Like Sue Ann says, there is a lesson there for the rest of us!

Tim, thanks to your good example, I backed up last night.

Tim - Your story strikes fear into the heart of every writer. Imagine what it was like in the days before computers, fax machines, photocopiers, and so on. I imagine fire was the biggest fear, followed by thieves.
